Outpatient consultation and hospital sleep medicine, obstructive sleep apnea, central sleep apnea, treatment adherence issues associated with positive airway pressure therapy, sleep related hypoventilation, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia, hypersomnia, narcolepsy, restless leg syndrome, periodic limb movement disorder, and parasomnias (sleep walking, sleep-related eating disorder, REM behavior disorder, etc).  In addition to treating sleep disorders, Dr. Chi also has expertise in treating patients with chronic respiratory failure/insufficiency caused by neuromuscular disease (such as ALS), chest wall deformity, lung disease and congestive heart failure using noninvasive ventilation (NIV) delivered through a variety of ventilatory modes.
