My research examines the effects of pediatric chronic disease on developmental and educational outcomes for youth in urban and suburban contexts, school based chronic disease management, and the use of dissemination and implementation science to improve health and educational equity. I am particularly interested in the complications of sickle cell disease and asthma, the unidentified impacts the diseases have on everyday functioning for youth in community and educational contexts, and the implementation of educational supports for youth living with chronic diseases.
