Dr. McClannahan studies age-related hearing loss and cognitive aging and how they interact. Her work addresses questions about how personality and cognitive abilities factor into self-reported hearing difficulties and hearing loss treatment decisions in older adults. Her work also includes a focus on assessment of sensory (dys)function in adults with dementia.
