Research interests

We are interested in understanding pathophysiological changes that occur in the brain shortly after the onset of ischemic stroke. In particular, we are interested in understanding the evolution of changes in cerebral blood flow and oxygen metabolism. Using MRI, we aim to find signatures that define reversibly and irreversibly injured brain tissue during ischemia.
