I am currently Professor of Radiation Oncology at the Washington University School of Medicine. My clinical practice has been focused on genitourinary cancers since 1991. I am an active participant in the Radiation Therapy Oncology Group Genitourinary and Image Guided Radiation Therapy Committees. I am currently the principal investigator for a large randomized clinical trial evaluating the benefits of high dose conformal radiation therapy in patients with localized prostate cancer. I am also a collaborator and investigator on a prostate cancer quality outcomes study in collaboration with my colleagues, Dr. Gerald Andriole and Adam Kibel at Washington University as well as Dr. Martin Sanda at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital.
I have numerous publications in the medical peer review literature on the management of men with prostate cancer. My primary research interests are in radiation dose escalation for localized prostate cancer and the evaluation of toxicity and quality of life following definitive therapies.
Radiation therapy, radiation oncology, pediatric oncology, prostate conditions, prostate cancer, treatment planning, carcinoma of the prostate, conformal radiation therapy, prostate brachytherapy
