Research interests

The ultimate goal of my research is to develop novel therapeutic strategies to improve liver function after ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) that occurs during transplantation, hemorrhagic shock and liver resection surgery. My major research emphasis is to understand the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying liver injury after I/R, using cell and animal models.
