    Personal profile

    Research interests

I am a biobehavioral scientist interested in the determinants and outcomes of physical activity behavior at the intersection of cancer and aging, specifically as it pertains to cognitive, psychological, and physical function. My chief scientific goal is to see the delivery of evidence-based physical activity programs for cancer survivors in the community and implemented into the standard of cancer care.

    Mentoring

I enjoy mentoring students on the development and implementation of human clinical trials focused on increasing physical activity levels to improve health outcomes. This includes: data collection, management, and analysis; administration of submaximal and maximal exercise testing and functional fitness testing; and participant recruitment, screening, and consent.
