Derek Brown’s research focuses on costs, Medicaid, discrete choice experiments, cancer, child abuse, and violence. He uses applied econometrics, administrative data, and innovative data sources and linkages. His goal is to improve valuation of health outcomes and policies and to promote better economic evaluation of public health policies.
