Research interests
Our central hypothesis is that what patients experience in the Emergency Department when they are acutely ill shapes the outcome of their hospitalization. Currently we are examining whether employing ultrasound assistance during central line placement in the Emergency Department decreases the number of acute and long term complications the patient might experience once hospitalized.
