Research interests
I am interested in the development and utilization of laboratory tests to improve patient outcomes. My specific interests include the use of biomarkers to aid in the diagnosis of infectious disease. This includes sepsis, opioid related infectious diseases, and joint infections. Other interests include the use of cardiac biomarkers as a measure of cardiotoxicity and preanalytical variables in laboratory testing.
