    Research interests

    My practice and research interests lie in nonoperative treatment of all musculoskeletal disorders. My previous research has included some work on minimizing risk and maximizing benefit from fluoroscopic guided spinal injections. Other areas I am interested in are sports medicine related topics, various shoulder disorders, use of musculoskeletal ultrasound, electromyography, and medical acupuncture.

    Clinical interests

    Dr. Tang has clinical expertise in medical acupuncture, with extensive training from both the United States and China. He evaluates and treats all musculoskeletal injuries using non-operative techniques. This includes acupuncture/dry needling, ultrasound guided injections, fluoroscopic guided lumbar and peripheral joint injections, etc. He has special training and expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound, oftentimes using ultrasound to help with diagnosis of various conditions. Dr. Tang is also a member of the Living Well Center, which is a program that provides patients with a unique treatment approach to help them meet their health and wellness goals.
