    Research interests

    I am interested in study male fertility and male contraception. The semen analysis is a poor predictor of sperm fertility capacity and we are looking at other parameters (sperm membrane potential, intracellular calcium and pH as better predictors (biomarkers) of sperm fertility capacity. I am also interested in understanding the underlying causes of male idiopathic infertility and validating new targets for male contraception.
