Research interests

My research interest is in general infectious disease, fungal and particularly mycobacterial infections, both Nontuberculous Mycobacteria and tuberculosis. I'm also interested in Global Health in resource-limited settings and I'm actively collaborating on several projects conducted at the Infectious Disease Clinic at Roosevelt Hospital and the National Program against Tuberculosis, both in Guatemala.
