    Research interests

    I am interested in the field of Clinical Microbiology; that is, development and interpretation of diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis of infectious disease. My main research interests include: molecular epidemiology, rapidly-growing Mycobacteria, the airway microbiota of Cystic Fibrosis patients, diagnosis of fungal infections, rapid diagnostic assays, multi-drug resistant organisms, epidemiology of influenza, pathogenesis of Streptococcal infections.
