Organization profile

About us

The WashU Medicine Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) was formed in 2026 through a collaboration between the fields of General Medicine, Geriatrics, and Hospital Medicine.

This merger has strengthened our ability to provide comprehensive, high-quality care for our patients and expand our educational and research missions. The division has grown significantly, now comprising over 300 physicians and allied clinicians, and providing care for more than 600 patients at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJH) and Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital (BJWCH) each day.
