The Center for Cardiovascular Research (CCR) supports basic and translational research focused on understanding cardiovascular biology and the biological processes that are responsible for cardiovascular diseases. By providing novel interfaces and facilitating collaborations among investigators in diverse disciplines, the CCR also supports research focused on the development of innovative new diagnostics and therapies to improve the lives of individuals with cardiovascular diseases.
